I recently got back from NY where I graduated from the We Got Issues! Leadership Institute. It is an empowering yougn women’s leadership year long process where as artists and activits we each have personal projects and take a journey in taking a deeper look at ourselves in the process. It has been truly amazing and I have gained 14 tribe members! I started a year ago and have been to NY a couple times before this last intensive. In the past, our intensives were in the mountains upstate while this past one was in the Hamptons. I was on a partial scholarship which I am very grateful for. This time I was able to finally see the city (more from just the train) and I fell in love with NY! I can’t wait to go back. WGI! is over and I won’t be able to see all my “sisters” and coaches again but at least I know several ppl in NY now that I can stay with! Oh and I love shopping there, and loved shopping in Brooklyn and Little Tokyo. We graduated in Manhattan. I have a lot of photos but here are a few for now:
